Shadowstalker sat in the middle of the feild, the sun setting, the sky fading into the color of crimson blood. His blue gaze looked slightly out of the ordinary and his black coat made him stand out tremendously against the yellow, dead grass of the field in MoonClan territory. He didn't know why he was out here and he didn't know why he was away from the safety of the warriors den, but something had told him to leave and to come straight here. Now that he was at his destination, he didn't know what to do. Everything was starting to become so fuzzy to his crystal eyes. Nothing was what it seemed anymore. Waves of insanity were hitting him more often lately and dragging him deeper and deeper into the land of eternal darkness. His ears were pinned back tightly against his head and his tail curled up perfectly around his paws. Claws sheathed and unsheathed in a nervous wreck. "Mother," He let his head fall, his neck dead and limp to the rest of his body. It hung lifelessly on his shoulders. "Take a look at what you are forced to call son." He smiled softly - sadly. "I beg of you," His expression became pained, his muscles strained with sorrow. "give pity to your child..." He prayed softly, hoping that his mother that had gotten hit by the car so long ago would somehow hear him.

Glassheart had been walking around the meadow part of the MoonClan Territory, in need of some solitude when she heard a masculine voice saying something. She couldn't make out the words, but by the tone of voice it seemed sad--regretful, maybe? The blue-eyed she-cat took a few silent steps forward, just tail-lengths away from the male with similar eyes and pelt to her. "Give pity to your child," she heard him say, though noticed no one was around but he and she, and the latter had not yet been detected. I wonder...is he crazy? We'd probably make good friends then, she thought, deciding to say something instead of just standing here. She'd rather make herself known then he find out himself; that wouldn't be a favorable out-come to the she-cat. "Hello," she said, taking a small half-step forward and to the size, shifting herself so she was just a bit closer to him. "You're from MoonClan, right? I'm Glassheart." Shadowstalker had looked up right before he heard a soft voice behind him. It's tone shocked him. Most of the time when somebody addressed him it was from agression or annoyance, but this tone was more of... Caring. "...Hello..." He finally muttered, turning around to see almost a mirror image of himself, but more feminine. At that moment, then sun dipped over the horizon, the sky being shaded over with a purplish-pink color. The other half of the sky was soft with navy blue, starts beginning to twinkle in the distance. "Y-Yes..." He answered, dipping his head shyly. "I'm from MoonClan. I-It's nice to meet you, Glassheart. I'm Shadowstalker." He cursed himself for stuttering. It was something he always did in front of new cats. His heart had been locked away from the rest of the world; the thought of letting somebody in had scared him every time it came to mind. He didn't know if it was just simple instinct or if it was another form of the madness driving at his body. Shadowstalker lifted up his head and looked into the crystal eyes that seemed to match his own. The black tom gave out a small smile.

Glassheart smiled a bit; as much as was possible for a cat, anyway, her eyes soft in their crystal color. This tom looked a lot like herself; pitch black fur and bright blue eyes. Though he was obviously more masculine-looking than her, and seemed to be bothered by something...Though the she-cat couldn't figure it out, she could tell there was something lurking behind those orbs. Something that probably would turn most away. But not her; she was an odd one. Always was and always will be. Besides the fact that she was a bit of an emotional wreak; breakable like the glass she was named after, given the fact that her stone walls would have to crumble first. "Shadowstalker, huh? I've never seen you around Camp before. Are you new, or just not very social?" Glassheart assumed it was the latter; given the way the tom had been alone talking to himself. He might very well be just a tad insane; but hey, I'm not all there myself. [/blockquote]

Shadowstalker stared her down when the words that were spilled from her mouth reached his ears. They pricked a few times and his clacked his teeth together on the inside of his mouth, his usual habit. "I-...I don't talk to other cats much..." He sat back down, setting himself carefully, his eyes, once again like they always were, infatuated with the ground. "I'm not good with socializing..." Shadowstalker admitted after a few seconds, looking up with guilty eyes. "I've come to the conclusion that I'm not the best cat to be around." He laughed quietly, letting his gaze fall back to the ground. He had never known why he had always looked at the ground in times of doubt - it's not like it was going to give him any more answers that he would get while looking up; in all reality it would probably give him less answers. "I... He began to talk, but the the words he wanted to say had left him. The be honest, Shadowstalker was scared. Not for himself, but for the she-cat in front of him. He was scared that if she hung around him too much then one day he was simply going to loose his mind like it normally occurred and something bad was going to happen to her. I wouldn't be able to deal with that... "Glassheart." He randomly said curtly, turning around, not looking at her. He sulked down, looking pathetic and small - slightly dead. "You don't want to talk to me. You don't want to be around me at all. I can tell you that." He muttered, trying to keep the sadness out of his voice - he failed. "I'm not normal. I'll put you in danger." He scowled at himself. How could he let himself stoop that low? Actually warning somebody about his problems before he had even told them what they were...? He shook his head at himself, trying to sink into the soil and disappear forever.

"It's not polite to talk to people while not looking at them," Glassheart said softly, sitting down beside Shadowstalker. "And I'll decide who I want to hang around with. Besides, if you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly normal either. Danger doesn't bother me, and at the moment I'm enjoy your company a lot more than most other cats. Any other reasons for me to leave?" The she-cat smirked, lightly prodding the tom with her paw in the side, trying to get him to remove his face from the dirt. I wonder exactly what he thinks is so dangerous...Himself, maybe? If he snaps or something? But I think I can handle that. I don't know why...but I just want to. This cat...this Shadowstalker...is different from most that I've met. Maybe I just need a little change, Glassheart thought, absently flickering her gaze from their surroundings to the tom, and back again. It was getting late, but she really couldn't care less. She was more of a creature of the night; her pelt easily blending in with the darkness and her eye-sight surprisingly not so affected by the lack of light. In fact, her night vision was probably better than most other cats; and her hearing was pretty unrivaled. Given the fact that she was paying attention to what others were saying, of course; she'd always been scolded for her drifting mind. But she just couldn't help it; there was always so much to think about. But right now, however, Glassheart's thoughts were focused primarily on Shadowstalker. "Please...will you be my friend?" Shadowstalker was obviously taken aback by the last question he was asked. Not only was she proding in him the side with her paw, but she had just asked to be his friends. The black tom shook a little, he didn't know why. It might have been the odd fear that was pushing back his happiness or it could just be the pure joy of being given open arms. He suddenly looked up from the ground and met her gaze, smiling soft and caringly to her. She's being so nice to me... He mused, now knowing that she didnt' seem to like it when he looked at the ground. I'll refrain from doing that. The tom laughed softly, almost no even at all. "B-But wh-..." He was going to ask her, but then suddenly he made himself stop in the middle of his words. Glassheart was one of the she-cats that apparently didn't like it when cats beat-around-the-bush with something. Shadowstalker took in a huge gulp and let out a heave of a sigh. "Yeah... You can." Shadowstalker looked at her with toughtful eyes. "Glassheart," He made sure that he got her attention. "U-Uhh... Thank you..." His voice trembled a little with happiness, blue orbs bright and beginning to glow in the darkness that was starting to surround them.

"No need. I should actually be thanking you," Glassheart said, smiling softly. The she-cat was happy to notice that he looked at her instead of the ground when he answered her, as well. Two blue eyes met their twins and for a moment the black-haired feline just stood, gazing at those orbs as if she were to become lost. But it was only for a moment and then the trance was over; the she-cat noticing how the tom's fur seemed to blend in with the darkness. "We should probably be going back. It's late," she said. "But, then again, who cares about breaking a few rules?" Glassheart let out a smirk, her crystal eyes twinkling with mischief. "I know a place near the Loner Territory where no one will bother us," the she-cat added, beginning to turn in that direction and walk away. "You coming or what?" [/blockquote]
