She sighed and closed her eyes as she paced back and forth as she waited or Wolfstar to come. Well I really don't know if I should be excited or freaking out more... she thought. Today she went to Sagepool for not feeling well and she found out. Kits... she thought, smiling slightly.

Wolfstar hurried out of camp as soon as he could. He had to bump up patrols due to lack of prey in what looked like one of the worst leaf-bares Wolfstar had ever seen. He wasn't looking forward to it. And there were going to be more kits which ment growth and defense, but also chance of starvation at a greater level. In this whole mess, he hadn't seen Icegaze whom was supposed to be organizing patrols. But maybe it was better that he was doing it his way.
He exited the camp and padded swiftly through the forest, his paws barely touching the ground and the chilly air whipping in his face. Luckily the tree branches sheilded it a bit; though without their leaves, the trees didn't help much. As he left the trees behind, Icegaze came into his sights. He rushed to her side. "Icegaze, are you ok? I heard you went to Sagepool's yesterday!" he meowed, concern heavy in his voice.

She smiled as she heard Wolfstar coming up next to her. “I’m fine… it’s just… “ she started, she was so excited and wanted to tell him but she was also so nervous. She stood up and turned around so she faced him, even though her eyes couldn’t see they did show her excitement. “Wolfy… I… I’m having kit!” she told him, a bright smile showing up on her face.

Wolfstar's heart skipped a beat. Was it true? Could it be? She was having...his kits? "Thats. Thats....Wonderful! Fantastic! More kits for our clan. Oh I just can't believe it! This is great! They'll be great for the clan if they inherit our skill which they should." he said purring. He rubbed his cheek on hers. He was thrilled with the news. It was a surprise, one he hadn't expected, but it was good.

She smiled brightly then thought of something that made it disappear. “Wait, Wolfy how will we explain me having kits?” she asked. “I haven’t been with any other toms, and we’ve kept everything secret…” She was now starting to panic, what were they going to do. She sighed and hung her head slightly. What’s going to happen to Wolfy and Greeny if Greeny finds out… she wondered.

Wolfstar hushed the paic-stricken she cat. "It will be alright. No one knows that you don't have your eyes on a tom that also has eyes for you. I wouldn't worry about it. We wont tell anyone who the father is and I will be very cautious around you, making sure not to give off any warning signals. I just wish there was someone who we could trust to say that he is the father. But, oh well. We'll get by."he meowed with a fierce smile.
