Personality:
Singeclaw is known to be cruel and powerful. She has never given off the appearance as a normal cat. Firstly, she has a shocking appearance that many tom’s find exceedingly attractive. Of course, Singeclaw could care less for any of them- she thinks toms are only good for favors. Secondly, Singeclaw always looks like a leader. Her chin is always raised proudly, her back always straight and long, and her eyes always piercing and intimidating. Singeclaw has a way of making everyone in her sight uncomfortable and awkward and she eats it up. Thirdly, she is the epitome of a dirty fighter. Her whole clan respects her as one of the best fighters because no one else can beat her. The only reason she beats all of them is because she fights dirty. She trips, kicks, and does whatever she can think of that will make her win.
She can’t stand losing at anything, making her more determined than any cat to win. When Singeclaw loses, she usually sulks for at least a day and snaps at everyone in sight more than usual. So usually, she wins. Singeclaw also tends to be ridiculously vain. For example, a warrior she killed caused the cut on her shoulder. After she received it, she couldn’t live with herself for months. She thought of herself ugly because of the little scratch and she still hates the tom for it. The one thing you should know about Singeclaw is that you never backstab her. She will come back and get revenge that causes you double the pain. Things like death and torture are always in the back of her mind… she believes that the only thing every cat in the world can desire is their life. That’s the only thing they fight for. Oh, wait. That’s thing called love… Singeclaw only let one tom truly get to her heart and she won’t make the mistake again.
The one thing that makes her so strong is her avoidance of truth. Sometimes, Singeclaw is so blind she can’t see things right before her eyes. When she gets the feeling that she shouldn’t do something, she dismisses it and just goes for it. She’s ridiculously passionate and rash. For someone who acts heartless, Singeclaw really cares… she doesn’t fight for her life. She’s been through too much to care much for her stupid life. The only thing she really cares about is her clan, because it’s the only stable thing she’s ever been able to hold onto. As a former rouge, Singeclaw doesn’t care about StarClan or anything except for herself. She’s never loved anyone since that tom cat… and she never loved her parents. Singeclaw never aims to let someone rip her heart apart again. She hates kits and foolish cats… she would be one bad tempered mentor. The main reason she hates kits is the back experience she had as a kit. She hated her parents.
While her strengths are in fighting, boundary patrols, and leading, Singeclaw is also a good hunter, minus the fact she can hardly ever catch a bird from trees. When she was young, Singeclaw fell out of a tree and hurt herself pretty bad, so one of her greatest fears is height. You will probably never see her trying to catch a bird from a tree. Most likely, she will ask someone else to catch it. If you do see her in a tree, she will be stepping cautiously and have her fur bristled. Although she looks perfectly strong like a statue, Singeclaw is scared of several things. One thing she is scared of is losing her power over other cats, her intimidation.
Singeclaw respects the medicine cat, leader, and deputy, but she doesn’t give them special privileges. If she is angry with them, she will state her mind and give say everything thing under the sun. She doesn’t seem to distinguish the difference between the leader and warriors- she will say anything to anyone. Singeclaw knows she’s way too valuable of a warrior to get rid of… and somewhere, deeop inside, she’s kind of uncomfortable living with the clan (it makes her scared to be close to anything). One of the main things Singeclaw tries to keep hidden from others is she is lonely. She separated herself from her family as soon as possible to become leader because she wanted to pay them back for what they had done. The main thing she wishes to do is to kill her brother, for no apparent reason.

History:
Singeclaw was first born of her mother’s second litter. She hated her other sibling, a tom, because she hated how stupid she was. He mother gave him the name Hawk, which she also hated. He was about as dense as a moon-struck rabbit and as foolish as any other kit. He did stupid things and almost got himself killed several times. Singeclaw treated Hawk like he was below her. Singeclaw’s father, Shadow, taught her how to fight and to view the world as a predator from a young age. He constantly criticized her… apparently, she wasn’t fast enough, she ran like a cow, she couldn’t hunt worth crap… Most of the time, he was verbally abusive. Once, Singeclaw couldn’t take it anymore and she attacked her father. Her gave her several scars she still wears from that day. She rarely talked to her weak-blooded mother.
Singeclaw lived on a farm with her family…
One day, she decided to go into the master’s den. It was something her mother had told her to NEVER do. The master had a dog and apparently, it wasn’t safe. Singeclaw decided to do it… she wanted to prove how strong she was, to her father. So, secretly scared, she managed to persuade Hawk to go with her. He wouldn’t go past the stairs to the back deck. Hawk’s weakness made Singeclaw stronger… she ventured to the back window of the deck that happened to be opened. She jumped into the house and the dog lunged for her. Singeclaw raced through the house, leaping onto a set of countertops and knocking off a series of china plates. The dog’s paws were cut up badly by the glass.
The master grabbed Singeclaw by the scruff and threw her into his truck... she was in a small mesh cage. The last time she ever saw her family was through the window. Her abusive father was smiling. The master left Singeclaw in the middle of the forest, alone.
For moons, Singeclaw traveled, using the skills her father taught her. In her head, he heard his voice… forcing her to move on even when she was close to death. Many would’ve thought the sound of her father’s voice kept her alive. It almost forced her into insanity having her head filled with his words. In her sleep, she dreamed of darkness and his cruel words. His words struck a blow because every morning, Singeclaw would stand up and force herself to go on. She was attacked often through these travels but one day, she met a tomcat. His name was Voidice… everything about him intrigued Singeclaw.
By this time, she was the age of a young warrior. She was curious and lonely… seeing a friendly face should have automatically warned her. Traveling with Voidice was nice.., it made Singeclaw feel comfortable, safe. A feeling she’d never felt before. Maybe Singeclaw was misguided. After only two moons of traveling with Voidice, she felt like she was in love with him. She was crazy about the idea of him… for once, nasty, cold-hearted Singeclaw had a traveling companion, someone who would take care of her! His intriguing black pelt… those crazy silver tiger stripes across his back… his deep blue gaze filled with warmth…
She felt happy for the first time in her life. Voidice didn’t talk much but when he did, he spoke in questions, in hidden meanings. Singeclaw didn’t understand him and that’s what made her intrigued even more with him… One day, after almost four moons of traveling, Voidice stopped. He refused to go on, said that he was heading back the opposite way. Singeclaw tried to persuade him otherwise.. she was heartbroken that he wouldn’t continue on with her. She tried to persuade him, remembering that Voidice was looking for a permanent home. They argued for a long time. Finally, when he was about to stalk off, Singeclaw confessed what she felt. He laughed at her. Singeclaw attacked him, beat him. But, he still gave her the talon-shaped scar on her left shoulder and left.
For the next moon, Singeclaw wandered, betrayed. She felt absolutely terrible… she didn’t care about her future. Then, she came upon a MoonClan patrol that forced her to come to camp with them. Singeclaw was overpowered, so she did as they asked. The MoonClan leader was interested in her standoff-ish behavior and asked her to join the clan. She joined, not really caring. At first, she didn’t care. Singeclaw acted like a good warrior, learned the tricks. Showed off her fighting skills. Even got some attention from a few toms. Singeclaw made it clear that she didn’t want to be close to anyone. While she made sure they knew she would be devoted to the clan, she never got close to anyone.
