Flamestar is not really what you could call a 'noble' or 'wise' leader. She hasn't changed since a young age. She doesn't always follow the warrior code and believes that she doesn't have to fight and please to earn others respect. That they will come to respect her because of who she is, and her own thinking process. Overall she is ambition, sharp tongued, and has a horrible temper. She usually has a stink attitude, but others really do admire her for it, and see her as a brave warrior in battle.

Flamestar's life hasn't been too drastic, except that when she was a little kit, there was a raging war going on between SunClan and MoonClan. At the time, the war seemed to end and things went on as if it had never happened. By the time she was apprenticed, Jetstar, her grandfather, died from a mysterious illness. Most of the clan were sad to see him go. His own mate ended up drowning herself in the river. At gatherings, Flamepaw was always glared at, that or her mentor, or father. They were all descendants of Jetstar, and even a few cats from their own clan didn't like them very much. Cherrystar was leader for a very short time, but that was enough time for Flameface to become a warrior and deputy. She was still very young, and hadn't finished training ehr first apprentice when Cherrystar died. But Flamestar bravely took on leadership and has been leading her clan ever since.
