Training day 1

Moonlight stalked through the grass with the sleeping Lacepaw in her mouth. She walked to the river, the moon light making it easier to see at night. She walked toward the river and looked both ways and shook the apprentice, then dropped her on the ground, Moonlight whispered into her ear, "Wake up!" She was still asleep. Moonlight sighed and dunked Lacepaws head into the river.
"First rule of training!" Moonlight yowled, "Wake up when I tell you to!"

She was slowly swinging in the tree, leaping wide branches, Nothing I could ever do in real life... she thought to her self. She then lightly leaped to the ground, the sound of the rushing river near by, actaully for some reason closer than it was before. Then it started to growl, a slight whisper, Growl? Lacepaw was then thrust from her dream in a flurry of cold rushing water escaping in to her soft white lined pink ears. It roared, casading into her nostils, echoing inside her head. Then quickly she put it together, she was being drowned. Skillfully she thrust her back legs in a circular motion, trying to force her back legs to move her front body so her head wasn't face down. It failed, then she started thrashing. Her eyes burst open, the beautiful orbs glowing even underwater. She saw a little fish swin by for a split second before the paw on the back of her head lifted her head out of the water and yowled, "First rule of training. Wake up when I tell you to!" She was awake alright, wide awake indeed. She scowled at her self, Am I really that heavy of a sleeper?...

She turned around swifly, although her head was soaked, to look at her mentor, Moonlight grinning wildly. I should have know why they called her Moonlight. She likes to train under the moon She had been waiting for this moment forever, her first training session. Looking Moonlight straight in the eye, hers shinning like crazy she forgave Moonlight for dunking her head, and said in a silent yet audable mew, "Yes, Moonlight..." She started shivering. How much she wished she could press against Moonlights warm dark black pelt.

"Tch," she muttered as her apprentice came up to her to warm up, Moonlight jumped back. "Young kit! Your first lesson is to learn how to find warm in situations like this, you were dreaming but that's no exuse! We passed a warm spot, remember were it is and find it. Fail and you will have to spar with me, succeed I will wake you up next training session." Moonlight squinted at her cold, wet apprentice. "I will stay here minding my time. You have until sun up to find the warm spot, start when your ready." she murmured, caught a fish, and began to eat it.

Lacepaw gently stood up for a split second, and then sat back down with a light thud. She closed her eyes light as a feather and went back to her dream, and the days before when she would sneak out of the camp and go to the carriage place, killing the over population of rats. They feared her there, even for being a tiny looked 4 moon old kit. She sat there till it was nearly sun high, she had no idea what Moonlight was doing because she was coursing through her memories. Then a flash of something blurred across her memory, a light, like fire! She knew where she had to go. The Carriage place. Getting to her feet she made a light low quick gait near the Moonclan boarder, just barely missing it she made a sharp path to the carriage place, glancing behind her to see if Moonlight had followed. The trees were blurred slighly as she ran full speed, racing the sun to the horizon. There she stood at the entry. A fire blazing just to the left of her, near a two leg monster. It had a larger back end, elongated as if to carry something other than them. Sneaking on the chained in border, she sat near the blazing flames coming from a metal container. She had found it.

Moonlight chuckled to herself as she saw her apprentice fall down with a thud, she walked toward the carriage place, she climbed on top of a broken down monster, she stretched her legs and got comfortable. She may of dozed of, it was nighttime and she had pulled and all nighter last night. She awoke, and looked down at the fire, she saw the small white body of Lacepaw sleeping next to the fire, she smiled and walked down to the apprentice, she nudged and prodded her until she woke up. "Alright Lacey," she muttered, "Time for part two."

Lacey got up and stretched a small adorable yawn formed on her face, her tiny pink tounge curled at the tip. She lightly touched the soft shoulder of her Mentor and dug her head in for a few seconds purring. She was glade that she wouldn't have to spar with her, for she couldn't bare to fight her right now. She then backed away slowly, bowing her head slightlyLacepaw questionly looked up at Moonlight, Really? This she cat is going to make me train almost all day?! When will I get to sleep at all...[/i} Although she was slightly upset, it never showed in her eyes. She lightly sat down on her hutches, "Moonlight" she said quietly "When do we eat?" her tiny voice chimed like tinkling bells as she had her eyes full of tender pure questions.

Moonlight smiled as Lacepaw purred in her fur, Moonlight chuckled as Lacey asked about food. "Food? Thats the next test, yes you can eat," Moonlight brought a mouse behind her, "but, if you do eat, then you fail. We have the same conditions, if you can not eat until noon then you pass and I will wake you next session, if you lose you fight me." Moonlight winked at the astonished face of Lacey. She laid down and stretched her legs.

Lacepaw was nearly fed up with this, what apprentice has to go through this? She watched as Moonlight laid down again. She looked off into space for a split second before the smell of fresh kill reached her nose. Moving swiflty in front of the mouse, she was going to eat it. Not that she was hungry, because she wasn't, but she wanted to see if her mentor would really make her spar. Opening her jaws she prepared to take a bit out of the freshkill. Just before she sunk her teeth into it, she smiled and looked into Moonlights deep eyes. The sensation hit the back of her tounge like a hawk swooping and grabbing his prey.

Moonlight smiled at the sight of Lacey eating the mouse, she wanted to teach the young girl her place and this was the place to do it. "Go.." was the only word she muttered as she barreled at Lacepaw knocking the food out of the apprentices mouth, she then picked up the shocked apprentice by the scruff and hureld her at a twoleg monster, she then ran up to her and lightly cut down her right leg.

Lacepaw hissed as Moonlight threw her against the monsters wheel. Like lightning the she cat came at her and slid her claw down her right legs. She hissed her lips curling up, and wrinkles forming at the top of her nose, tiny and thin, for she never hissed like this. Her tiny razor sharp teeth, white as pearls, were all visble, gleaming in the light of the fire. The most horrid sound of hate and distaste came out of the kit sized apprentices mouth, her usually sweet gently throat and was thrust in Moonlights face. The kitten soft fur was fluffed up on her back How dare my mentor do this to me! Quickly she bit down, hard, on her mentors front left paw and quickly raced for the camp. The sun at her back, she made a mad dash, faster than she had ever fleed before. .

What she didn't know was that Twistedimage, a former warrior, now a medicine cat was right in the forest, watching the whole thing. No doubt would he report this..maybe.
